John P. Timmerman is the current Public Relations Officer for CUFOS and maintains the CUFOS photo archive, as well as over 1,000 UFO case files. He has studied the UFO question for more than 20 years and was a close friend and associate of Dr. J. Allen Hynek (the founder of CUFOS). Timmerman is also an active investigator for CUFOS, and previously held the position of CUFOS treasurer.

• Spoke at the 2002 [[National UFO Conference] about "The Media and UFO's".
